Blogging conference season is upon us! I’ve been to two blogging conferences in the past and will attend two more in the next few months. The first conference I attended was a major milestone in my blogging “career” (if I can call it that). The second was also instrumental…and it was a huge amount of fun. I highly recommend them.
But I’ve got to say, if you’ve never been to a blogging conference, it’s kind of a strange experience. I mean, here you are, “friends” with these people and yet you’ve never spent a minute with them in real life.
One Problem with People on the Internet
Online, everyone is reduced to a 2-dimensional avatar. It’s convenient for the internet, but not so convenient when you’re trying to find someone familiar in a sea of real, 3-dimensional people.
